About the position

The Sales Manager at Chesmar Homes is responsible for leading the sales team and driving strategic growth in the company's home sales operations. This role focuses on developing and executing sales initiatives specific to new home construction, ensuring the sales team meets or exceeds performance goals, and optimizing customer engagement to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the Sales Team to meet division sales and closing objectives.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity to maintain market share and track trends to optimize margins.
  • Develop and execute community-specific sales strategies using the 'Five Ps' of Marketing.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of top talent, including NHCs, trainees, and administrative staff.
  • Execute sales and marketing aspects of new community startups.
  • Provide coaching, problem-solving, and support to the Sales Team, ensuring effective communication with Construction Managers.
  • Implement sales promotions, resolve escalated customer issues, and foster collaboration between homebuilding, mortgage, and title divisions.
  • Prepare sales reports and contribute to sales meetings and marketing initiatives.

  • Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant and proven experience in New Home Sales/commission real estate sales.
  • Valid driver's license and successful background check required.
