About the position

As a Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and enhancing guest experiences. This hybrid position requires a dedicated individual with hotel sales experience to manage accounts, generate new business, and build strong client relationships. You will be responsible for conducting site inspections, preparing proposals, and collaborating with sales and catering teams to ensure successful events.

Responsibilities

  • Sell guest rooms, meeting spaces, and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts and generating new business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct site inspections and presentations, showcasing the unique offerings of Hyatt Regency Lost Pines.
  • Prepare and present effective proposals, ensuring all documentation is well-organized and accurate.
  • Work closely with the sales and catering teams, participating in and potentially leading event meetings and staff discussions.
  • Create, negotiate, and execute group sales agreements with the approval of appropriate channels.
  • Utilize Hyatt systems to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge; familiarity with Hyatt Sales Systems is a plus.
  • Strong skills in selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentations.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training is preferred.
