About the position

This position is responsible for leading a sales team, developing and managing a group of sales associates who engage in both remote sales and in-person partnerships. The role involves overseeing activities to generate new business opportunities, managing team performance, and developing sales strategies to achieve long- and short-term sales objectives and financial growth goals. The position also includes coaching associates to enhance sales performance and ensuring productive collaboration between the team and bank partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manages performance and personnel functions for a team, ensuring operational soundness while executing on a plan to deliver results that create value for the customer and meet the financial expectations of the bank.
  • Drives accountability to role expectations, responsibilities, and authorities, providing one-on-one feedback and coaching that supports associate development and achievement of results.
  • Executes the sales strategy to achieve the team's goals, partnering with stakeholders such as Marketing, Operations, and product owners.
  • Sets sales goals in collaboration with senior managers, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational goals.
  • Engages with customers, prospects, and referral sources as needed to support the team.
  • Fosters collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues.
  • Initiates conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities and listens attentively to understand customer needs.
  • Ensures operational efficiency and compliance with all regulations, bank policies, and procedures to manage risk.
  • Completes required training by established deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Coaching and sales management OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Coaching and sales management.
  • Proven success in managing individual and group objectives.
