About the position

The Sales Manager (Insulation) will play a crucial role in driving sales efforts for a rapidly growing insulation company. This position involves generating leads, negotiating contracts, and building relationships with clients while ensuring alignment with the company's operational strategies. Responsibilities

  • Generating leads and exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.
  • Preparing quotes and pricing schedules.
  • Building relationships with potential clients through networking events.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Developing and executing an operations strategy in line with company goals.
  • Promoting and understanding company programs.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to assess their needs and promote products and services.
  • Implementing a performance management system to track progress and motivate staff.
  • Enforcing company policies, including safety and customer service.
  • Overseeing various aspects of operations, including finances, scheduling, quality assurance, and more.
  • Maintaining client records and providing information about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
  • Participating in a minimum of 7 home shows or expo events per year.

Requirements

  • Sales experience with a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills for building rapport with customers and suppliers.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computers and various software applications.
  • Willingness and ability to pass a pulmonary fit test.
  • Willingness and ability to work in tight spaces, including attics.
