About the position

The Aftermarket Parts Sales Manager for Key Verticals is responsible for profitably growing and maintaining accounts in key verticals of the North America Commercial HVAC market, including Data Centers, Government, and Mechanical Contractors. This role involves close collaboration with key customers to address their aftermarket parts needs, ensuring minimal downtime and continuity of operations. The position requires a strategic account management approach and collaboration with various internal functions to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Profitably grow and maintain accounts in key verticals of the North America Commercial HVAC market.
  • Develop and execute effective commercial/go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with customers to maximize opportunities and ensure satisfaction.
  • Drive forecasting accuracy and proactive sales initiatives to meet financial commitments.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to examine account performance and lead initiatives for improvement.
  • Manage cash flow through effective execution of payment terms and proactive billing and collections.
  • Oversee team members in business development, sales, delivery, and performance assurance.
  • Establish account assignment plans among team members to optimize workload.
  • Develop effective leaders and a high-performance team using training and development tools.
  • Collaborate with internal functions to meet and exceed customer expectations and business targets.
  • Adhere to safety standards and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Requirements

  • BA degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Eight years of management experience in the commercial equipment industry.
  • Proven track record of success in a matrix organization with conflict resolution and change management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with customer service issues.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills based on financial impact.
  • Exposure to sales excellence best practices.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 50%.

  • Previous experience managing Strategic Accounts in the Data Center vertical.
  • Management experience in the HVAC/buildings controls industry.
