About the position

Kohler Company, a leader in plumbing manufacturing and consumer services, is seeking a Sales Manager for their Walk-in-Bath and Shower Systems teams in Wisconsin. This position is integral to executing a business plan that aligns with both financial and non-financial goals. The Sales Manager serves as a crucial link between the Operations and Sales Departments, playing a significant role in the management team at the business location. In this fast-paced, direct-to-consumer environment, the Sales Manager will work closely with homeowners to help realize their bath and shower dreams. The Sales Manager is responsible for coaching a team of high-performing sales professionals, known as Kohler Design Sales Consultants. This role involves setting and clarifying objectives for associates, managing ongoing performance, and continuously developing the skills of the team. The Sales Manager is also tasked with elevating and protecting the Kohler brand by ensuring compliance with approved sales policies, methodologies, and values. This position requires a commitment to excellence, reflecting the high standards associated with the Kohler name and brand, particularly in customer experience. Key responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, training, and developing Design Sales Consultants, driving the execution of the Kohler Sales Process, and ensuring that the team meets or exceeds sales targets. The Sales Manager will manage customer data, sales funnel information, performance reporting, and customer escalations to deliver an exceptional experience for both customers and team members. Collaboration with marketing, administrative, and production teams is essential to communicate sales capacity and ensure a seamless customer experience. Additionally, the Sales Manager will track consumer trends to inform product offerings and maintain pricing integrity in all consumer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team with a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the business.
  • Hire, onboard, train, and develop Design Sales Consultants using established processes.
  • Drive the execution of the KOHLER Sales Process to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Train, coach, and motivate Design Sales Consultants to meet or exceed individual sales targets.
  • Manage customer data, sales funnel, performance reporting, and customer escalations effectively.
  • Maintain communication with potential customers as per Company Guidelines to create delightful experiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing, administrative, and production teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Track consumer trends and make product offering recommendations to senior management.
  • Maintain price integrity by managing pricing strategy and auditing quoted work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • 3-7 years of sales leadership experience with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results.
  • Proven leadership attributes with the ability to set clear strategy and objectives in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in the home services or residential construction industry is preferred.
