About the position

The Sales Manager at Caterpillar Inc. leads a team responsible for providing sales operations support to Caterpillar dealers and Cat Financial field teams in the US. This role focuses on achieving business plan sales targets, developing marketing strategies, and ensuring dealer satisfaction while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver business plan sales and market share targets for Construction Industries in the US.
  • Serve as an integral partner to Area Managers and sales teams in developing and executing sales and marketing plans.
  • Lead a team responsible for quoting loans and leases, deal structuring, and credit negotiation.
  • Provide team leadership for system training and support to dealers in the origination platform Capitalstream.
  • Manage dealer wholesale origination and merchandising claims grief resolution.
  • Accountable for dealer satisfaction and development of team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, preferably in finance, marketing, or management.
  • MBA and relevant experience in finance and sales in positions of progressive responsibility.

  • Experience in the construction or mining equipment industry.
