About the position

The Sales Manager for OCI Commercial Named at Oracle is responsible for leading a team of sales representatives focused on cloud infrastructure and AI/ML services. This role involves developing strategies to grow Oracle's customer base, managing key client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets. The Sales Manager will also play a crucial role in recruiting, training, and motivating the sales team to excel in their roles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Commercial Named Cloud Infrastructure sales representatives.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new sales representatives on the Oracle sales process.
  • Develop relationships with strategic clients and serve as the lead negotiator for major transactions.
  • Generate and achieve monthly territory forecasts and accurately predict revenue.
  • Oversee commercial sales, third-party alliances, and customer satisfaction for Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services portfolio.
  • Implement strategies to improve Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.
  • Sell and promote Oracle products, negotiating prices and terms of sale.
  • Collaborate with senior management and executives to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Partner with elite Systems Integrators to align and inspire strategic project plans.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading technology sales professionals.
  • Proven ability to hire and train top talent in sales.
  • Strong leadership and public speaking skills.
  • Quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Experience selling Public Cloud Infrastructure or related services.
  • Expert understanding of cloud adoption patterns and business models.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling outsourcing solutions to vertical industries.
  • B.S. or B.A. in engineering or computer science preferred.
