About the position

The Cloud Infrastructure Sales Leader will oversee a team of sales representatives focused on Oracle's cloud infrastructure solutions. This role involves leading the sales team to establish and grow Oracle's install base accounts, developing relationships with strategic clients, and serving as the lead negotiator for significant transactions. The position requires strong leadership, public speaking skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate the sales team while achieving monthly revenue forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a team of strategic Cloud Infrastructure Sales Representatives, including recruiting, hiring, and training.
  • Be an enthusiastic, high-energy leader who inspires the internal sales team and customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Generate and achieve monthly territory forecasts while accurately predicting revenue.
  • Handle overall responsibility for commercial sales, third-party alliances, and customer satisfaction surrounding Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services portfolio.
  • Demonstrate technical competence with knowledge of top cloud providers and their business models.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to improve Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.
  • Sell and promote Oracle products to customers, negotiating price and terms of sale.
  • Assist in developing short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives, interacting with Senior Management and Executives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years leading technology sales professionals and supporting functions such as inside sales and pre-sales engineers.
  • Ability to hire and train top talent, including new sales representatives.
  • Strong conflict resolution abilities and customer satisfaction management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and public speaking proficiency.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling Public Cloud Infrastructure or related services at other cloud-based companies.
  • Experience selling outsourcing solutions to Vertical Industries.
  • Expert understanding of cloud adoption patterns including Hybrid, Data Center, and Application Modernization.
  • B.S. or B.A. from a major university, preferably in engineering or computer science.
