About the position

Zack's Mighty is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to enhance our presence in the Natural Channel. This role is pivotal in managing existing partnerships and developing new opportunities for our innovative tortilla chips. The Sales Manager will oversee the complete sales cycle, which includes identifying target accounts, managing brokers, presenting to buyers, and planning promotions. The ideal candidate will have initial experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry and is eager to take on more sales responsibilities. In this position, you will be responsible for growing Zack's Mighty's distribution and topline revenue across the Natural Channel nationwide, with a particular focus on regional chains and independent retailers. You will own the entire sales cycle for your accounts, starting from initial outreach to product launch. Ongoing account management will be a key part of your role, which includes planning and monitoring promotions to ensure success. Additionally, you will manage our broker network, setting and tracking quarterly goals to drive performance. Analyzing sales data will be crucial to understanding existing retailer performance and identifying new opportunities for growth. You will also collaborate closely with the Marketing team to create effective sales materials and plan retailer support initiatives that align with our brand's goals. Responsibilities

  • Grow Zack's Mighty's distribution and topline revenue in the Natural Channel nationwide, focusing on regional chains and independent retailers.
  • Own the entire sales cycle for your accounts, from initial outreach to product launch.

Requirements

  • Based in New York City or Chicago, with a preference for in-person work.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the CPG industry.
  • Comfortable working on a small team (you'd be our 6th member!).
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
