About the position

The Sales Manager for Network, Cybersecurity, and Storage Solutions is responsible for leading a small sales team and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with team members and other departments to ensure alignment and success in achieving sales targets. The Sales Manager will engage in direct sales efforts, mentor the team, and build long-term relationships with clients and technology partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a sales team of 2-3 members, ensuring team alignment and success in achieving revenue targets across Network, Cybersecurity, and Storage solutions.
  • Take full ownership of the sales department, driving both strategy and execution while ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Actively engage in direct sales efforts, taking responsibility for high-value deals, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with business goals, market trends, and vendor initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide your team, offering clear direction, support, and accountability to help them achieve individual and team success.
  • Monitor individual and team KPIs, providing regular feedback and making adjustments to improve performance as necessary.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and technology partners, securing continued business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top-tier client solutions and a seamless customer experience.
  • Continuously optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and drive growth.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of proven experience in sales management, ideally within the VAR, IT reseller, or technology solutions industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and meet or exceed sales targets in a complex B2B environment.
  • A results-driven mindset with a clear track record of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • In-depth knowledge of Network, Cybersecurity, and Storage technologies, and the ability to articulate their value to clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a keen sense of business strategy.
  • Experience working with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and reporting systems.
  • A serious, motivated individual looking for long-term growth opportunities within the company.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing sales teams in the Network, Cybersecurity, or Storage industries.
  • Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure solutions and experience working closely with technical teams.
