About the position

The Sales Manager - Nuclear position at Baker Hughes is a leadership role focused on driving sales growth and managing key industry relationships within the nuclear energy sector in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering customized solutions to clients. This role requires strong technical and communication skills, along with a proven track record in industrial sales or customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting sales calls to key nuclear sites and other industry influence centers.
  • Promotion of OEM parts sales and product upgrades for Consolidated and Masoneilan.
  • Working collaboratively with supporting functions to resolve technical and business problems.
  • Providing liaison between Nuclear Marketing, Quality, Operations, and Engineering to resolve product field issues.
  • Developing a robust sales opportunity pipeline for direct and channel accounts.
  • Documenting in CRM tools to drive operational focus and deal closure.
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding orders and amendments.
  • Clearly defining and communicating customer-perceived problems.
  • Developing and maintaining customer preference relationships toward BHGE.
  • Monitoring special programs and coordinating with customers.
  • Screening and analyzing customer order practices for trends and alignment with pricing policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Sales, Customer & Product Support, Marketing, or Services.
  • At least 5 years of experience in application engineering, industrial sales, or customer service, ideally in the Nuclear industry.
