About the position

The Sales Manager OEM & Distribution at Crane Payment Innovations is responsible for exceeding sales targets and driving business growth in the Transport, Kiosk, and Vending industries within assigned territories, primarily France. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, building long-term customer relationships, and maximizing sales opportunities through effective management of customer interactions and market analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to deliver sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and channel partners, understanding their needs and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Create and deliver value-based sales presentations by understanding CPI products and their applications.
  • Assist customers throughout their purchasing journey, from product selection to delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to maximize revenue and enhance customer experience.
  • Be accountable for all customer quotes, including development, building, and negotiation.
  • Maintain a sales and orders funnel for assigned territories and produce accurate monthly forecasts.
  • Evaluate market trends and monitor sales performance to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights for business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide weekly reports and monthly updates for the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in sales management, engineering, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in components sales in the industrial sector.
  • Experience in selling technical solutions.
  • Fluent in French and English; Italian is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful sales management and consistent overachievement of sales targets.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and action plans.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com), analytics tools (e.g., Qlik), and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Experience in the Kiosk, Transport, and Vending industries is a plus.
