About the position

The Sales Manager at Stanton Optical is responsible for leading the sales team, driving sales performance, and creating a positive team atmosphere. This role involves supporting the Brand Manager in executing action plans, training and coaching associates, and ensuring effective store operations. The Sales Manager will also collaborate with clinical teams and lab staff, while being empowered to take ownership of the role and contribute to the company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to exceed personal and store goals while delivering outstanding customer service experience.
• Support Brand Manager duties frequently acting as Manager on duty.
• Support store talent acquisition and talent development, including direct recruiting and training new team members.
• Build strong partnerships with Clinical services.
• Analyze daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to ensure staff members achieve desired goals.
• Communicate effectively and build strong partnerships with the Support Center and Human Resources.
• Ensure proper lab production to achieve 'Now Service' and 'Ready When Promised'.
• Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery of eyeglasses.
• Ensure brand standards are met in the lab area and notify management of equipment malfunctions or incorrect orders.
• Keep track of delivery time commitments to patients to ensure 100% compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs.
• Strong communication skills with a diverse group of people.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
• Sales and customer service experience.
