About the position

The Sales Manager for Participant Services and Sales Solutions at Voya Financial is responsible for managing a team of investment advisor representatives, focusing on sales, retention, and customer service within the Personal Investing organization. This role emphasizes compliance and suitability in an advisory environment while driving sales and retention goals. The manager will oversee team performance, ensure adherence to regulatory standards, and foster a positive work environment through coaching and development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a sales/relationship/service telephone team of 12-15 investment advisor representatives.
  • Engage customers in fiduciary conversations to grow and retain relationships.
  • Monitor call quality, sales effectiveness, and regulatory adherence.
  • Achieve sales and retention goals for the team and organization.
  • Create a positive work environment with a focus on coaching and employee development.
  • Participate in the development and execution of business plans to meet strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFP, or CFA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of financial services or related sales management experience preferred.
  • Licensure required: Series 7, 24, 63, 65/66.
  • Strong sales and customer relationship experience.
  • Full understanding of retirement and retirement income planning.
  • Ability to coach and build a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • CFP or CFA designations are preferred but not required.
  • CRPC designation may be attained.
