About the position

The Sales Manager - Renewals at UL, LLC is responsible for developing and motivating the Renewals Team by imparting consultative selling skills and industry knowledge. This role involves leading client engagement, managing relationships with key decision-makers, and holding the sales staff accountable for achieving sales targets. The manager will also oversee the performance of direct reports, ensuring adherence to policies and providing guidance for career development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and motivate the Renewals Team by coaching on consultative selling skills and sales techniques.
  • Lead client engagement by managing relationships with middle management and key decision-makers for large and medium customers.
  • Hold sales staff accountable for assigned sales targets.
  • Demonstrate expertise in market developments and trends to drive go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports by establishing performance objectives and providing feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of Customer Success experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team of more than 8 individuals
  • Significant experience in a Software sales environment with deep knowledge of Renewals processes
  • Proven ability to effectively lead a global team
  • Experience leading a team in a highly transactional environment
  • Ability to conduct presentations of technical information to senior management and customers
  • Expertise in sales strategies and tactics.
