About the position

The Sales Manager, Retail Motorcycle at Goodridge is responsible for driving retail sales of fluid transfer systems within the motorcycle market. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue targets, building strong relationships with key clients and motorcycle retailers, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Sales Manager will analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with the team to promote products effectively while managing the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial team to maximize opportunities, turnover, and profitability of existing and new accounts in the Motorsport environment.
  • Formulate strategic plans for future business development.
  • Engage and lead marketing initiatives and strategy.
  • Assist in budget development and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain pricing and application files.
  • Act as the customer voice at Goodridge.
  • Oversee organic growth and new customers added to the portfolio.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to gain customer confidence.
  • Develop technical partnerships with chassis builders and engine builders.
  • Work with website sales contacts to maximize opportunities.
  • Strengthen the Performance and Racing sales team.
  • Maintain effective systems, procedures, and documentation.
  • Prepare and generate reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Constantly strive to improve efficiencies.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role within an Aftermarket distribution company.
  • Knowledge of the Harley Davidson and Metric bike market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing customer accounts in an automotive environment.
  • Ability to provide clear and professional reporting.
  • Knowledge of Fluid Transfer systems is highly preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of ISO Standards and the importance of quality production standards.
