About the position

The Sales Manager at AmeriCU Credit Union is responsible for developing and maintaining a robust sales culture within the organization. This role involves creating and delivering sales training programs, coaching sales teams, and ensuring the effective use of CRM systems to drive production and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). The Sales Manager will collaborate with various teams to enhance sales behaviors and support the overall mission of providing exceptional financial services to members.

Responsibilities

  • Identify sales training needs for various divisions and develop sales training programs.
  • Deliver and support AmeriCU's sales training program.
  • Provide specialized support to sales teams through targeted coaching and follow-up.
  • Lead and facilitate training programs to build sales acumen throughout the Credit Union.
  • Incorporate CRM software into sales behaviors to ensure consistent use across divisions.
  • Train employees to identify members' needs and cross-sell appropriate products or services.
  • Provide sales management training to supervisory staff to ensure effective performance.
  • Drive sales engagement through contests and events to recognize successful team members.
  • Work with internal clients and external vendors to assess training needs and improve performance.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness and modify as needed.

Requirements

  • In-depth working knowledge of CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
  • Experience in developing and delivering sales training programs.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to elevate sales production.
  • Ability to assess employee skills and provide constructive feedback.
  • Experience in facilitating training sessions and workshops.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with production systems such as Meridian Link.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
