About the position

The Sales Manager at ECI Software Solutions is responsible for driving sales through effective planning, supervision of sales staff, and meeting sales goals. This role involves building relationships, coaching team members, and managing sales processes while ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs. The Sales Manager will also be tasked with developing budgets and staffing to support sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Determines annual unit and revenue plans by implementing sales and marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results of industry.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for sales reps and territories; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products.
  • Implements sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintains sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Assists in establishing and adjusts selling prices by monitoring competition, and supply and demand.
  • Completes sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Provides tactical and strategic territory, account, and opportunity leadership to multiple Account Executives who report to them.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending industry events; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Tracks and analyzes leads coming from Telesales.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' sales experience.
  • Skills to coach and assist reporting reps in relationship and benefit stream selling to 'C' Level prospects.
  • Ability to understand business flow and articulate software benefits stream to prove out a return on investment.
  • Negotiation skills are critical and ability to work with a prospect from cold call to close.
  • Proven experience of growing revenue and scaling outside sales teams.
  • Undergraduate College Degree.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
