About the position

The Regional Oil and Vacuum Services Manager at Heritage Crystal Clean is responsible for driving revenue growth for the Oil and Vacuum Services programs within the designated region. This role involves training and developing sales representatives, managing pricing strategies, and maintaining major account relationships. The position requires a proactive approach to sales performance monitoring and problem-solving, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and presenting a positive company image.

Responsibilities

  • Meet revenue quota for the Oil and Vacuum Services programs within the region.
  • Train and develop all VSSR's and OSSR's in the region, including regular truck rides with each representative.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with the company's Oil and Vacuum Services acceptance procedures.
  • Manage pricing and price exception procedures for the Oil and Vacuum Service programs.
  • Conduct major account sales and retention within the region.
  • Engage in personal sales efforts at major accounts and larger prospects.
  • Monitor business performance on a daily, weekly, and periodic basis.
  • Identify and communicate potential problems affecting revenue growth to management.
  • Implement solutions to identified problems.
  • Develop and implement sales contests and incentives to increase gallons and revenue.
  • Report progress of sales performance to Regional and Senior Sales Management.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in hiring Oil and Vacuum Services Sales and Service Representatives.
  • Coordinate the startup of new Vacuum or Oil Services trucks, including logistics and supplies.
  • Oversee emergency response or mitigate issues with hot loads, coordinating with EH&S.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong sales and sales analysis skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with Division, Region, and Branch management.
