About the position

Jim Mckay Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be energetic, passionate, and highly motivated, with a proven track record in customer service and sales management. This role involves managing all aspects of the sales department, ensuring high standards of service delivery, and fostering a competitive and successful sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage all areas of the sales department, including wholesale, retail, purchasing, and marketing.
• Forecast goals and objectives for vehicle sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
• Possess strong closing abilities and handle customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure high standards are maintained for the delivery of vehicles to customers.
• Train and lead the sales staff, ensuring they understand and follow dealership policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with customers, subordinates, and other management.

Requirements

• Previous automotive sales management experience.
• Leadership skills with a passion for training fellow employees.
• Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday.
• Goal-oriented and friendly personality, especially when negotiating pricing.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Quality customer service, communication, computer, and basic math skills.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
