About the position

Heiser Automotive Group is seeking a Sales Manager with prior dealership and sales experience. The role involves supervising and motivating salespeople, promoting strategies to sell new and pre-owned vehicles, and performing typical managerial duties such as organizing schedules, training, interviewing, hiring, and setting departmental goals. The ideal candidate should possess a customer-friendly attitude, strong computer skills, and be a self-starter and team player.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales team members and customers to help enhance the sales process and produce sales.
• Build rapport with customers to establish and maintain a customer network.
• Work together with the Management team to develop advertising campaigns.
• Achieve manufacturer performance objectives.
• Provide training and support to the Sales staff and assist in closing deals.
• Monitor Internet Leads Desk deals and track gross logs and RDR vehicles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Domestic experience a plus.
• Customer Satisfaction driven.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in an automotive sales department.
• Minimum 1+ year(s) automotive dealership experience.
• Minimum 1+ year(s) automotive management experience.
• Valid and clean WI Driver's License.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Internet experienced.
• Vin Solutions CRM capabilities a plus.
• Capable of taking ownership of a stable and experienced sales floor.
• Gross as well as volume capable.
• Must be able to work some evenings and Saturdays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function as part of a team and work independently.
• Willing to learn and take direction.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced work environment.
