About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to create our sales team and drive revenue growth. This role is pivotal in managing sales operations, developing strategies to enhance market presence, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve set targets and objectives.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
• Oversee inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Manage payroll processes for the sales team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning for the sales department.
• Monitor retail sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals.
• Foster strong relationships with clients to promote loyalty and repeat business.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales management or a similar role within the retail sector.
• Strong background in team management with a focus on achieving results.
• Demonstrated ability to sell products effectively while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Experience with budgeting processes and inventory control systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with recruiting practices and employee development initiatives.
