About the position

The Sales Manager at Blake Fulenwider Ford of Andrews is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to meet and exceed dealership sales goals. Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and overall dealership goals
  • Work with the General Manager to develop sales strategies, goals, and objectives for the dealership
  • Train, coach, and mentor sales staff to improve their product knowledge, customer service skills, and overall sales performance
  • Monitor sales numbers and report on sales activity, successes, and areas for improvement
  • Foster a positive and customer-centric work culture within the sales team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to generate repeat and referral business
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to ensure a smooth sales process
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a sales manager or similar role in the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of sales processes and techniques
  • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with inventory management and sales tracking systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework or degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
