About the position

The Sales Manager position at Pyramid Staffing involves leading a team of national sales representatives in the technical solutions sector of the plastics processing industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales, marketing, or project management, particularly in a B2B environment, and will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships while providing tailored technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of national sales representatives and drive sales growth with OEM accounts and system integrators.
  • Consult with engineers, plant managers, and maintenance teams in plastics processing factories to provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Define project scope, prepare quotations, manage order entry, and ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of ongoing projects.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, maintaining a deep understanding of company products and competitors' offerings.
  • Communicate and collaborate with existing sales representatives, offering training and support to help meet sales targets.
  • Prepare and present technical presentations or white papers to customers and at industry events.
  • Attend national and international trade shows and industry events to promote the company's solutions and stay current with industry trends.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or project management, preferably in a technical B2B company.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to travel regularly across the country for client consultations and sales support.
  • Applicants must have their own reliable transportation for travel.
