About the position

The Sales Manager at A Advanced Septic Services Inc. is responsible for leading the sales team in the commercial and home services industry, specifically focusing on septic, sewer, plumbing, and electrical services. This role requires a dynamic leader who can integrate sales strategies, train team members, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while meeting revenue goals. The Sales Manager will collaborate with various departments, monitor team performance, and develop strong relationships with clients, particularly in mobile home parks and property management companies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales team and integrate sales strategies across teams.
  • Train sales team and field technicians to establish customer rapport.
  • Understand sales criteria and hold the team accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership on SMART goals and results.
  • Communicate with COO, Dispatch, and Customer Service for optimal customer experience.
  • Monitor performance of sales and field technicians and advise on improvements.
  • Facilitate sales meetings and review estimates, contracts, and service reports.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and serve as technical backup when necessary.
  • Create and execute weekly training sessions for the sales and field technician team.
  • Develop relationships with mobile home parks and property management companies.
  • Estimate specialty jobs and respond to emergencies with timely solutions.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet MVR requirements.
  • 2+ years of B2B Sales experience in the Home Services Industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of septic systems and related scope of work.
  • Strong computer skills including CRM software and MS Office.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and enter confined spaces for troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and timelines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Service Titan dispatch software.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
