About the position

The Sales Manager at Everstory Partners is responsible for leading all sales initiatives and practices, focusing on developing the front line Sales Counselors and driving performance through a customer-focused experience. This role requires an empathetic professional who understands the importance of providing families with options during their time of need. The Sales Manager will collaborate with sales staff, monitor production, provide direction in hiring and training, and ensure effective communication across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all sales initiatives and practices.
  • Develop and train front line Sales Counselors.
  • Drive performance through a customer-focused experience.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to ensure attainment of sales goals.
  • Monitor production at the location and develop the sales team.
  • Provide direction in hiring, promotion, and training of assigned staff.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies during staff management.
  • Evaluate sales activity daily to provide recommendations and best practices.
  • Coordinate employee scheduling to ensure coverage at all times.
  • Communicate frequently with all departments to support location needs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record, preferably in a B2C industry.
  • 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
  • Proven leadership ability and excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong sales and communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, and train sales personnel.
  • Capable of developing new methods to increase sales in a competitive environment.
  • Enjoys collaborating effectively with others in a team atmosphere.
  • Well organized with strong time management skills.
  • Possesses confidence and professionalism to interact with clients in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to work with clients one-on-one and build strong customer relationships.
  • Desire to set own schedule and ability to work evening and weekend hours.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
