About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the Solar industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, demonstrate great closing and setting abilities, and be a motivated leader who can oversee a team of Solar Energy Consultants while maintaining individual and team quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, train and manage a team of 5 - 10 Solar Energy Consultants.
  • Maintain an individual quota as well as a team quota ensuring that your team is always on track to meet their marks.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of local market and policy dynamics.
  • Provide meaningful hands-on training to new sales team members.
  • Assist team members in closing sales when needed.
  • Foster a strong team atmosphere based on results and accountability.
  • Interview new applicants for your team.
  • Keep track of team members' performance and ensure adherence to company policy.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in the Solar Industry.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent Solar Sales skills with the ability to set appointments and close them.
  • Be self-driven and highly motivated.
  • Managerial experience is a plus.
