About the position

The Sales Manager position is focused on driving sales within the Leisure Sales Market, particularly targeting retail travel agents. The role involves developing relationships with key accounts, executing sales strategies, and ensuring the successful positioning of the Trump National Doral resort to maximize profits and exceed budgeted goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the resort sales effort with key leisure market accounts focused on retail travel agents and partner organizations.
  • Focus on gaining membership admission with American Express FH&R, Virtuoso, Ensemble, and Signature consortia programs.
  • Establish deep relationships with top producing luxury market travel agents to support the new Trump Hotel Collection positioning.
  • Maintain a rigorous travel schedule for sales calls, events, and trade shows to promote the resort's offerings.
  • Manage day-to-day customer support coordination with key agency accounts, resort reservations, and operations.
  • Develop and maintain the Trump National Doral Reservation support team and Travel Agent relationships.
  • Conduct ongoing internal training with hotel reservations, front office, and F&B to ensure service levels are met.
  • Develop a regular marketing and communication program for key account database.
  • Pursue strategic marketing program opportunities with key Consortia account organizations.
  • Support Wholesale account strategy with agent training, events, and trade show participation.
  • Ensure resort scorecard performance is maintained with FH&R through monthly reviews and training.
  • Drive group leads from mega agency accounts and wholesale partners.
  • Perform duties as assigned by the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in the leisure travel market.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with travel agents and consortia programs.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for sales calls and events.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with luxury market travel agents.
  • Familiarity with consortia programs such as American Express FH&R, Virtuoso, Ensemble, and Signature.
  • Background in hotel or resort sales.
