About the position

The Sales Manager at Novatech, Inc. is responsible for driving sales growth and managing the sales team in the Atlanta/Alpharetta market. This role involves implementing strategic sales plans, coaching team members, and building strong customer relationships to meet sales targets. Responsibilities

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Implementing a strategic sales plan that expands Novatech's customer base
  • Coaching, mentoring, and training the sales team
  • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs
  • Presenting sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasting to executive teams
  • Identifying emerging market trends and shifts while being aware of industry products and services
  • Networking with the local community to seek new business opportunities
  • Hunting for new business through cold calling and responding to leads
  • Training representatives on maintaining assigned territory with excellent customer service
  • Becoming an expert in all products, services, and solutions offered by Novatech

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in sales leadership
  • Proven ability to drive sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business acumen and industry expertise (or willingness to become an expert)
  • Phenomenal mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
