About the position

The Sales Manager at Renogy is responsible for driving B2B sales and fostering relationships with RV, Marine, and other mobile off-grid businesses. This role is crucial for achieving revenue targets and expanding the company's market presence during a period of significant growth. The Sales Manager will develop and implement sales strategies, manage the sales cycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts, leveraging market research and customer insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Set and conduct meetings with relevant contacts and companies, owning the entire sales cycle of contract negotiation and ensuring successful order volume.
  • Build trusted, lasting partnerships with executives, key decision-makers, and influencers in various off-grid energy channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Assess operational issues regarding competitiveness, staying current with trends, innovations, and pricing.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Represent Renogy at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and cultivate strategic partnerships.
  • Work closely with the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, with technical selling experience and high technical acumen.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong track record of closing deals over $1M.
  • Ability to quickly build trust with customers of all backgrounds.
  • Excellent negotiation skills in contracts, along with strong organizational, strategic planning, and implementation skills.
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create realistic schedules and meet deadlines under stress and interruptions.
