About the position

As a Sales & Project Manager at Five Star Painting, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for estimating and managing painting projects. This role combines sales and leadership, allowing you to drive revenue while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. You will oversee project execution from start to finish, manage subcontractors, and maintain budgets, all within a supportive company culture that values flexibility and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Sell both residential and commercial painting projects.
• Hire and manage skilled subcontractors.
• Provide accurate project estimates and maintain budgets.
• Keep projects on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
• Collaborate with the crew leads to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Develop detailed schedules and operational plans for each job.
• Upsell additional services to maximize value for our clients.
• Identify potential challenges early and take decisive action.
• Attend home shows, commercial trade events, and other networking events as the primary representative of Five Star.
• Network and promote Five Star to local partners, including realtors and property managers.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of B2B and B2C sales experience.
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• Excellent communication abilities, both in person and on paper.
• Proven ability to drive sales.
• Independence and initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• A clean driving record and the ability to travel daily within your territory.
