About the position

The Sales Manager at RM Interiors & Design is responsible for leading and developing the sales team, driving performance, and ensuring the company's success in providing flooring solutions for rental properties. This role involves strategic sales execution, customer engagement, and collaboration with senior leadership to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard new sales representatives for both inside and outside sales teams
• Provide training on flooring products, trends, and sales techniques
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, offering coaching and mentorship
• Set and track KPIs for the sales team, ensuring accountability and performance excellence
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with directors and sales leadership to implement strategic sales initiatives
• Assist sales representatives in closing high-value deals
• Identify new sales opportunities and develop strategies to capture market share
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients
• Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
• Serve as a liaison between the sales team and senior leadership
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the flooring, construction or property management industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using CRM software and sales analytics tools
• Ability to travel as needed for industry events and client meetings
