About the position
The Sales Manager at Ulta Beauty is responsible for leading a high-performing team to achieve top-line sales growth while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Beauty Advisors, Prestige Beauty Advisors, and Lead Cashiers to achieve sales growth.
- Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed sales and service goals.
- Drive company profitability by identifying underperforming metrics and developing strategies.
- Plan and execute in-store events to enhance guest experience and drive sales.
- Review and analyze financial and operational reporting to inform business decisions.
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to guests.
- Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent.
- Support associate professional development through training and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Utilize company tools to manage store workload and inventory control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-3+ years of fast-paced retail management experience.
- Proven success in driving top-line sales and managing payroll budgets.
- Experience in monitoring inventory levels and achieving operational excellence.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
- Proficient with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems and Microsoft Office.
