About the position

The Sales Manager at Closets By Design is responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing sales team to exceed sales expectations. This full-time inside management position involves supporting and developing in-home sales, utilizing management skills to mentor the design team, and effectively communicating challenges to senior management. Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and motivate high performing sales teams
• Aid in professional development through both one-on-one and group trainings
• Help teams in hitting or exceeding revenue forecasts
• Utilize management and leadership skills to mentor design team
• Communicate challenges the design teams are facing confidently and effectively with senior management
• Self-directed leader requiring minimal supervision
• Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail and follow-up.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in managing sales teams or 5+ years' experience as an individual sales contributor with varying levels of responsibility
• Enjoy sales & sales management with experience in coaching others on sales performance
• Proven track record of past/current success in B2C sales or leading B2C sales teams
• Experience in a management capacity training or operations will be considered
• Commitment to follow our Positive attitude towards achievement
• Great communication, organization, and coordination skills
• Working knowledge of Windows Office, Excel a plus
• Excellent customer service background
• Retail sales and management a plus.
