The Sales Manager at Hampton Inn Waco is responsible for developing and fostering business through proactive direct sales, marketing, and solicitation for various market segments. Responsibilities

  • Develop and foster business through proactive direct sales and marketing.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted RevPAR goals.
  • Accurately forecast revenues for the following month.
  • Analyze short-term fluctuations and direct selling activities to maximize revenues.
  • Prepare sales and/or marketing plan for the following year.
  • Ensure front desk agents are familiar with all sales programs and key accounts.
  • Produce sales department reports in a timely manner.
  • Identify effective market segments and balance them to maximize revenues.
  • Conduct displacement analysis for groups or accounts as needed.
  • Read and interpret STR results weekly and monthly.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and work to secure business from them.
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate with all departments for showrooms.
  • Interact with guests, owners, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure satisfaction and compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year sales experience in hospitality or two years of progressive experience in a hotel environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar computer applications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hotel marketing and sales strategies.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting.
