About the position

The Sales Market Operations Lead Analyst at Cigna Group is responsible for managing and delivering Sales Operations projects in collaboration with U.S. Commercial distribution leadership and the Client & Growth Services organization. This role involves supporting local market sales initiatives, conducting sales and operations analysis, and facilitating growth discussions with Market Growth Leaders. The analyst will also oversee key sales-supporting processes and ensure effective communication and project management within the local market.

Responsibilities

• Support sales operations for a dedicated geographic area and assist in resolving client inquiries.
• Facilitate Sales Operations discussions and ensure availability of sales activity and performance metrics for meetings.
• Engage in management processes to provide insights and data for meeting preparedness.
• Track and oversee key sales-supporting processes such as Producer Incentive Plan reconciliation and audit.
• Lead projects or project tasks to ensure local market initiatives are completed timely.
• Drive consistency and best practices within the local market while collaborating across the organization.
• Demonstrate proactive professional execution with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Provide support and mentorship to members of the broader Client & Growth Services organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and one year of related work/internship experience OR 5 years of related work experience in Sales or Operations.
• Highly skilled in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau preferred.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written).
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate proficiency.
• Organized and experienced in meeting tight deadlines.
• Ability to drive results and adapt to ambiguous situations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Tableau is preferred but not required.
