About the position
The Sentinel-Record is seeking a highly motivated sales/marketing representative responsible for selling digital and print marketing and advertising solutions. This role emphasizes new business development and requires a candidate who thrives in a performance-measured environment where building relationships and tenacity are essential.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and budget, developing strategies to increase business ROI.
- Develop and grow a quality pipeline of new potential clients through networking, cold calling, and relationship building.
- Maintain consultative relationships with clients to ensure they maximize the value of products and services.
- Track sales activity through daily reporting.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years outside sales experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Aptitude for negotiation and persuasion.
- High motivation, determination, and target orientation.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
- Strategic thinking that produces results.
- Ability to create and deliver client presentations.
- Must provide your own immediate, dependable transportation.
