About the position

The Hotel Zamora, a beautiful boutique hotel located in St. Pete Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Coordinator. This role is pivotal in designing strategy and overseeing the execution of the hotel's website and social media channels. The coordinator will partner with hotel management, vendors, and onsite sales teams to lead the hotel's digital media operations. The position requires a strong understanding of the hotel’s amenities, packages, and promotions, as well as the ability to differentiate the brand in the market. The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will create content and develop digital campaigns, oversee online advertising initiatives, and manage the hotel's online reputation by monitoring and responding to audience reviews and engagements. The role also involves evaluating and determining new ways to lead the market in social conversations, driving audience engagement, and monitoring all digital assets including the website, online listings, review sites, and social media channels. Additionally, the coordinator will provide regular performance reports and analytics, conduct and distribute weekly sales reports for competitors, and develop content calendars that align with the marketing strategy. This position also supports the Sales Department by identifying new contacts, developing sales leads, and responding to sales opportunities to maximize revenue. The coordinator will be responsible for arranging and completing site visits for future wedding and group clients, regularly monitoring client satisfaction, and completing other tasks as assigned based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create content and develop digital campaigns.
  • Oversee online advertising initiatives.

  • Drive listening initiatives and audience engagement.
  • Fully understand the hotel amenities, packages, and promotions.
  • Monitor all digital assets including website, online listings, review sites, and social media channels.
  • Work with vendors on SEM/SEO strategy and monitoring.
  • Coordinate response to reviews or messages with expediency.
  • Oversee website presence and ensure all information is accurate and compelling.
  • Provide regular performance reports and analytics.
  • Conduct and distribute weekly sales reports for competitors.
  • Develop content calendars that align with strategy and contribute towards established goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service as a representative of the hotel when engaging with guests.
  • Support Sales Department to identify new contacts and develop sales leads.
  • Record appointments, follow up meetings, and effectively track business leads.
  • Arrange and complete site visits for future wedding and group clients.
  • Regularly monitor client satisfaction.
  • Complete other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sales or related field preferred.
  • Experience with multiple social media platforms, hospitality setting preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving and administrative skills.
  • Willing to learn and be open to suggestions/ideas to improve productivity and efficiency.
