About the position

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Matthews Motors is responsible for managing and optimizing online sales operations for vehicle inventory and an eCommerce parts store. This role supports the execution of marketing initiatives aimed at promoting the brand and driving customer engagement. The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and creative skills to align sales and marketing efforts, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and achievement of revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the online sales process for vehicle inventory and parts eCommerce platforms, ensuring seamless operations from product listings to customer delivery.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to online sales, resolving issues promptly and professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze sales data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve online sales performance.
  • Work closely with sales and inventory teams to ensure adequate stock levels, promotional alignment, and consistent communication across channels.
  • Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and online advertising, to support sales initiatives.
  • Manage and grow the email marketing program, including audience segmentation, campaign design, and performance analysis.
  • Coordinate the production of marketing content, such as newsletters, social media posts, blogs, and promotional materials.
  • Oversee the company's social media presence, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Monitor key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities for differentiation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years in sales coordination, marketing, or eCommerce roles.
  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics and social media management tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing is a plus.
