About the position

The Sales & Marketing Creative Manager at Marriott Vacations Worldwide is responsible for managing creative delivery and project management across various brands and businesses. This role serves as the main point of contact for internal business partners, ensuring that project requirements are met and execution strategies align with business objectives. The manager oversees the creative execution of projects from concept to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to brand and legal standards. The position requires fluency in both English and Japanese, as it involves creating marketing materials and communications in both languages, and liaising with teams in North America and Asia-Pacific regions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage creative delivery and project management needs across brands and businesses.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with internal business partners to gather project requirements.
  • Facilitate the initiation of the creative process based on business strategy and objectives.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and oversee the creative execution of projects from concept through completion.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams in North America and Asia-Pacific regions.
  • Create marketing/sales materials and communications in English and Japanese.
  • Translate and communicate with owners in Japanese during filming of owner testimonial videos.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for translations, photography, and digital marketing.
  • Coordinate direct mail and email campaigns with external Marketing and Sales partners.
  • Manage work processes and projects, setting priorities and measurable objectives.
  • Present alternative solutions to programs by leveraging broader organizational input.
  • Enhance organizational capabilities through the development of team members.
  • Create project plans, set targets for milestones, and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate with senior leadership on high-profile project timelines and status.
  • Directly manage customer communications needs on time and on budget.
  • Build strong relationships across functional teams based on respect and trust.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in advertising agency account management, in-house communications, project management, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English and native Japanese speaker.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and translate Japanese.
  • Experience in creating materials in print, video, and digital mediums.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in marketing or sales is a plus.
  • Process development and management experience is a plus.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year.
