About the position

The Sales & Marketing Director for North America Beauty Care at SEPPIC, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the commercial operations of the personal care division. This role involves managing a team of technical sales representatives, developing sales strategies, and ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals. The director will also participate in staffing, coaching, and training, while maintaining relationships with key clients and representing the company at industry events.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial profit and loss statements (P&L) for the North America personal care division.
• Set performance goals and monitor achievements throughout the year.
• Participate in staffing, coaching, training, and performance evaluations for the sales team.
• Develop the department's yearly budget in line with company expectations and strategy.
• Analyze variance between budget and actual sales, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee the sales opportunities pipeline to align efforts with strategic directions and initiatives.
• Implement local pricing strategies in collaboration with regional marketing.
• Support sales representatives in responding to customer bids and negotiating deals.
• Liaise with key clients and maintain relationships with top accounts.
• Work with Regional Marketing Managers to develop a five-year strategic plan for the North America Personal Care Business Unit.
• Represent the company at key industry association meetings and tradeshows.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Formulation of Beauty Care, Marketing, Sales, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in beauty care formulation, understanding customer needs.
• At least 2 years of sales and marketing experience driving commercial policy and sales strategy.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant beauty care management experience.
