The Sales and Membership Coordinator at Biba plays a crucial role in driving membership growth and enhancing member engagement through effective sales strategies and exceptional service. Reporting to the Director of Membership Communications and Events, this position is ideal for an ambitious individual eager to develop skills in sales and events management within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new members, including outreach campaigns, promotional events, and partnerships.
  • Create compelling marketing materials to highlight the benefits of membership and drive interest.
  • Foster relationships with existing members through regular communication, feedback collection, and personalized interactions.
  • Plan and organize member events and activities to enhance engagement and build a sense of community.
  • Implement retention programs and initiatives to ensure member satisfaction and long-term commitment.
  • Analyze membership data to identify trends, preferences, and areas for improvement in services.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date membership database, tracking member information, preferences, and engagement history.
  • Generate reports on membership statistics and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and distribute regular communications, newsletters, and updates to inform members about events, benefits, and relevant information.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries, providing timely and helpful responses.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in membership engagement.
  • Propose and implement improvements to membership programs based on feedback and evolving needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficient in using PeopleVine software.
  • Proven experience in membership management, customer service, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
