About the position

The Sales & Merchandise Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations within assigned selling departments. This includes managing associates, enhancing customer relations, maintaining in-stock conditions, ensuring effective visual merchandising, protecting assets, and providing training to staff. The role aims to drive sales and meet productivity goals while controlling expenses.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly sales while controlling markdowns and inventory.
• Ensure profit and productivity goals are met while controlling expenses and personnel cost.
• Ensure optimal mix, strong in-stock position, and execute HQ and local promotions.
• Implement and maintain Exchange corporate standards of merchandising and customer service.
• Train, coach, and mentor junior managers and associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in retail management, two of which are at the band 4 (mid-level management level) within the last five years.
• Or a Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in retail management at the band 4 (mid-level management level) within the last five years.
