About the position

Coke Florida is seeking a dedicated Sales Merchandiser (SM) to join our team in Miami-Dade, FL. This full-time position is primarily responsible for stocking, replenishing, and merchandising Coca-Cola products while providing exceptional customer service at designated accounts. The Sales Merchandiser will work predominantly during the day shift, starting at 6:00 AM, and will be required to work weekends as needed. As the primary representative of Coke Florida in customer accounts, the Sales Merchandiser will ensure that products are continuously stocked and ordered according to consumer needs. In this role, you will be assigned a regular route within a specific territory, working five days a week. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining product displays, managing inventory levels, placing timely orders, and ensuring compliance with company merchandising standards. You will also be expected to maintain professional relationships with co-workers, customers, and shoppers, while effectively communicating account activities and addressing any service needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent planning and organization skills, and the ability to operate manual and powered pallet jacks. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle for use during work hours. Previous sales or merchandising experience is preferred, and candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities

  • Stock and replenish Coca-Cola products at designated accounts.
  • Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements in compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain appropriate product inventory levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts.
  • Place timely and accurate orders per ad calendar to maintain inventory levels.
  • Manage back stock inventory levels and trade breakage in assigned accounts.
  • Meet customer service expectations through daily communication and problem resolution.
  • Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, customers, and shoppers.
  • Conduct store surveys and communicate account activities to appropriate parties.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment, sales floor, and shelves.
  • Transport, replace, and maintain point of sale advertising as appropriate for account.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working hours.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must have current vehicle liability insurance as specified by the company.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate Degree or 1-2 years of college education preferred.
  • 1+ year previous sales/merchandising experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to use and understand mobile applications.
  • Proficient in computer application skills.
  • 1+ year working under minimal or no supervision preferred.
