About the position

The Sales Officer Senior - Treasury Management at City National Bank is responsible for developing and directly selling treasury management products and services to new clients while expanding existing customer relationships. This role involves supporting business development activities, conducting needs analysis, and coordinating sales efforts to enhance the use of treasury management solutions. The incumbent will maintain knowledge of treasury management offerings and work closely with relationship officers to acquire new business and strengthen client ties.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sell treasury management products and services to new clients.
  • Expand existing treasury management customer relationships.
  • Conduct customer/prospect needs analysis and develop service solutions.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with relationship officers and team members.
  • Maintain current knowledge of treasury management products and services offered.
  • Analyze client requirements and present recommendations on applicable products/services.
  • Develop treasury management sales plans in conjunction with relationship managers and other stakeholders.
  • Foster ongoing relationships with line units by providing product/service information and conducting training sessions.
  • Prepare and present treasury management client proposals and ensure proper implementation of services.
  • Meet regularly with existing customers to expand business relationships and cross-sell additional products.
  • Participate in the development of new services and marketing strategies consistent with division objectives.
  • Comply with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of cash management sales experience in a financial services environment.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in managing/supporting medium to large account relationships.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and principles for marketing treasury management services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate information to identify sales opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
