About the position

The Sales Operations Analyst at Perch Energy plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer acquisition process for community solar products. This position involves onboarding Sales Partners, managing customer applications, and utilizing data to identify sales trends. The analyst will report directly to the VP of Sales and will focus on improving operational efficiencies while supporting the sales team in achieving their objectives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Creditworthiness of Large Industrial Customers (IG) by conducting thorough analyses to determine eligibility for community solar projects.
• Underwrite Customer Contracts to ensure compliance with state, utility, and client requirements while maintaining accuracy.
• Prioritize Project Fulfillment by managing project needs and deal flow in alignment with commercial operation timelines.
• Develop Sales Reports and Dashboards to monitor sales performance and operational efficiencies.
• Manage Channel Commission Processes to ensure accurate and timely payments to partners.
• Triage Partner Requests and Inquiries to address questions regarding commission payments and customer subscriptions.
• Enhance Sales Operations Processes by improving existing procedures and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support Sales Objectives by aligning with company goals and contributing to the success of the sales team.
• Assist Sales Leadership by providing operational support and streamlining sales-related tasks.
• Audit Customer Data to ensure accuracy within the CRM system.
• Handle Ad Hoc Requests to support various business needs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of operations experience
• Prior enrollment or contract processing experience
• Knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM is a plus but not required
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent people skills
• Proficient with Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.
