About the position

D-Wave is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist II to join our dynamic Sales Operations team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency of our sales team and requires an enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for various operational aspects that support the sales team, ensuring that all operations align with delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across different departments within D-Wave. This position demands a strategic thinker capable of performing duties with minimal supervision while maintaining a customer-centric mindset. In this role, you will support the creation, configuration, and generation of quotes using Salesforce CPQ, acting as the primary point of contact for the sales team throughout the sales cycle. You will assist in preparing sales proposals, contracts, and other necessary documentation, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, you will maintain and optimize Salesforce for the sales team, ensuring data integrity and accuracy while developing reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance and trends. Your advanced Excel skills will be utilized to analyze sales data, create reports, and identify trends, while also developing and maintaining complex spreadsheets to support various sales operations tasks. You will design and conduct comprehensive onboarding programs for new sales team members, providing ongoing training and support on systems, processes, and best practices. Furthermore, you will create and maintain training materials and documentation for sales operations processes and tools, emphasizing customer-centric practices. The role also involves analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for improvement, managing and executing sales operations projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes. You will foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes customer needs and satisfaction, ensuring that all sales operations efforts contribute to the overall success of D-Wave's mission to unlock the power of quantum computing.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, configuration, and generation of quotes using Salesforce CPQ.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation as needed.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain and optimize Salesforce for the sales team, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance and trends.
  • Drive sales data quality and hygiene efforts through excellent change management and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze sales data, create reports, and identify trends.
  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets to support various sales operations tasks.
  • Design and conduct comprehensive onboarding programs for new sales team members.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team on systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Create, update, and maintain training materials, user guides, and other documentation for sales operations processes and tools.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Manage and execute sales operations projects, ensuring timely completion and successful outcomes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, Business Systems, and Legal to streamline processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales operations or a similar role within a SaaS or cloud industry.
  • Proficient with CRM software (Salesforce) and Excel.
  • Process-driven organization and time-management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communicator with top-notch interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Experience with CPQ, ZoomInfo, SalesOS, Zoominfo Engage, and Power BI is a plus.
  • Customer-centric with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ and advanced Excel functions.
