About the position

The Sales Operations Specialist at PurposeBuilt Brands is responsible for supporting sales operations through reporting and analytics, customer service, and event management. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance customer engagement and drive continuous process improvement, ultimately contributing to the growth of the Five Star business.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities and customer engagement, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management meetings.
  • Conduct lead qualification and prospect research.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify growth opportunities and declines.
  • Monitor and track monthly sales metrics and KPIs.
  • Assist in the development of sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Maintain reporting processes with Syspro and Salesforce.
  • Track event merchandise and giveaways in collaboration with the event marketing planner.
  • Build and maintain an event list for various conventions and events.
  • Assist with onsite event management and handle post-event follow-up.
  • Create customer target lists for area visits and prepare materials for sales and marketing functions.
  • Provide high-level customer service through quality, accuracy, and process consistency.
  • Gather and document customer feedback and relay insights for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the CRM system by updating customer information and tracking interactions.
  • Onboard new customers and proactively reach out to all customers regularly.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure timely order shipments and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in sales support, analytics, or customer service.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce, and Syspro (or a comparable ERP).
  • Proficient in Excel, specifically in V Lookup and Pivot Tables.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all departments.
  • Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
