About the position

The Sales Operations Account Manager at LG Electronics plays a crucial role in driving the growth of the Home Entertainment market specifically for the Amazon business. This position is designed to support the sales team in achieving and exceeding sales quotas by addressing the operational and analytical needs necessary for success on the Amazon platform. The role can be performed remotely from California or onsite in New Jersey, providing flexibility for the right candidate. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting sales strategies and operational activities tailored for the Amazon channel. This includes participating in the execution of sales strategies, tracking performance, and reporting on key metrics. You will provide timely observations of market trends and implement corrective actions as needed, utilizing platforms such as Amazon Vendor Central and Stackline. Additionally, you will monitor competitor activities and ensure pricing alignment, collaborating with the Go-to-Market team to address any price degradation issues from third-party sellers. Your responsibilities will also encompass managing the Claims Post Audit process in conjunction with the Accounts Receivable team, leading accounts receivable reconciliations, and ensuring product compliance on the Amazon site. You will oversee promotional execution processes and conduct daily site reviews to identify and rectify pricing issues. Furthermore, you will manage administrative tasks in support of the sales team, ensure inventory levels align with sales forecasts, and coordinate new product launches across various categories and teams, emphasizing accuracy and timeliness. A significant aspect of your role will involve managing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with key Amazon contacts to optimize traffic, conversion rates, and sales performance in alignment with company KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales, strategy and operational activities for the Amazon channel.
  • Participate in the execution of the sales strategy with regular periodic tracking and reporting.
  • Provide regular and timely observation of trends with corrective actions and reporting utilizing key platforms such as Amazon Vendor Central and Stackline.
  • Monitor Competitor Activity and Pricing Alignment.
  • Work with Go-to-Market team on 3rd Party Seller price degradation and compliance.
  • Own the Claims Post Audit process working with Accounts Receivable team.
  • Lead the process for AR reconciliations and various accounting processes with Amazon.
  • Ensure product compliance on site.
  • Lead the promotional execution process with Amazon.
  • Perform daily site walks identifying 3rd Party Seller price degradation working with the Go to Market team to correct.
  • Provide ongoing reviews of existing content and troubleshooting of issues across the Amazon platform.
  • Manage administrative tasks with support from Sales team.
  • Ensure proper levels of inventory in line with sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate new product launches across categories and various teams with an eye for detail, accuracy and time to site.
  • Management and reporting of KPIs with deep dive analysis to identify opportunities and drive plans for improvements.
  • Partner and communicate with key Amazon contacts and systems to optimize traffic, conversion, and sales that achieve company KPI's.

Requirements

  • Bachelors required.
  • 3+ years of sales experience (or sales operations experience) with a proven track record of results.
  • Strong relationship builder and excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to take on ad-hoc requests and work independently.
  • Solid business acumen.
  • Strong Excel and PPT skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to achieve desired results.
